Jim Kasson is a retired
electrical engineer and engineering manager who spent most of his
career with Hewlett-Packard, Rolm, and IBM. He spent his last six
years at IBM as an IBM Fellow doing research on color management
algorithms. A life-long photographer, he has been exhibiting
photographs since the early ‘80s. Most of his earlier work is
traditional silver-based black and white photography. For the last ten
or twelve years he has relied upon digital editing and printing
processes. He is a diver with a preference for the South Pacific, and
his underwater photographs can be found at http://www.kasson.com.
